I've been working in Care sector for over a decade which gives me the opportunity to know more about taking care of my service users and cleaning their environment.Due to nature of the job ,I ensure everywhere is clean and tidy. And as such my service users will be far from illness.
Work & Experience
Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe environment ● Provision of nutritious and delicious meals to the patients. ● Ensuring that patients receive well-balanced and appetizing meals during their stay in the hospital. ● Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety following strictly the guidelines to ensure that all food preparation areas are clean ● Working closely with other healthcare professionals (Support Workers) to ensure that patients receive appropriate meals that aid in their recovery. ● Ensuring that all surfaces, equipment, and furniture are properly disinfected to prevent the spread of infections after every meal. ● Assisting in managing and restocking supplies, such as cleaning products, toiletries, and linens, to ensure that all necessary items are readily available. ● Ensuring the usage of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to hand hygiene practices. ● Keeping records of every activity to aid proper improvement of the organization. ● Collaborating with other team members, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Helping my service user with daily chores including cleaning and dressing. ● Helping them in preparation of meals. ● Ensuring the administration of medications according to the nurse or physician. ● Ensuring good rapport with my service user to give them a good smile in their state of mind. ● In case of any misconduct from my service user, I report to my team leader and if there is no response I tell my manager for better status of the organization. ● Arranging and cleaning of the assigned areas by mopping floors with special cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease. Uses damp, disinfectant-treated cloths and vacuum cleaner to dust window sills, blinds, floors, furniture, and equipment in an orderly fashion.
